Contributing toward everything from science education to physical fitness, these partners are making a difference in students' lives and a positive impact on inner-city Birmingham. Junior League of BirminghamSeeds to Sprouts was created to enhance students' critical thinking skills through an interactive science enrichment program that includes the management of an outdoor ecoscape.

Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham—Through a partnership with the Women’s Fund, Impact Family Counseling, and Gateway, the Building a Bright Future program was developed to assist 7th- and 8th-grade girls in developing financial management and goal-setting skills for their futures.

The Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham—Along with Samford University’s Department of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine, the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham has created the Health for Life program to increase students’ physical fitness, develop skills for making healthy choices, and provide parents with valuable resources and health information.

The Alabama Office of School Readiness—We have received a four-year grant to create the Cornerstone Academy of Early Learning, a full-day pre-kindergarten program for high-quality, early childhood education to prepare young children for success in school.

Publix Super Markets Charities 

Teklinks---As one of the region's most prominent technology companies, Teklinks specializes in all things IT.  With a mission to provide the highest quality services, network solutions and support, Cornerstone is extremely grateful to have such a notable group as an advocate for our school. 

Impact Family Counseling---The kind people at Impact Family Counseling have partnered with Cornerstone to provide counseling and behavioral aid services for our students as a part of their Successful Schools Program. 

Woodlawn United Methodist Church---With the help of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church, Cornerstone is currently renovating the existing 1920's education building to add 11 classrooms for our students. This will allow us to serve an additional 50 students each year.
