We've been called to do a great work,
but we can't do it alone.

Volunteer

Cornerstone offers a variety of meaningful opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved with our school through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, and more. Whether you can commit to once a day or once a year, there are opportunities for every type of volunteer to participate.

Here are just a few ways you can partner with us:

  • Lunch Buddy

Have lunch with a student! This is a weekly commitment of 30 minutes. Depending on the age of the student, lunch times will vary.

  • Elementary Art Room Volunteer

Help in the Art Room on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the elementary school.

  • Elementary School Tutor

Tutor a student in reading and/or math for 30 minutes to an hour. This is a weekly commitment.

  • Aftercare Buddy

Work one on one or in small groups, weekly for 45 minutes to an hour after school, helping students with homework and fostering friendships.

  • Elementary Friday Clubs

Work with kindergarten – 3rd-grade students during their Friday clubs. Clubs currently offered are singing, dancing, drawing, dodgeball, yoga, STEM, and bracelet making. This is a commitment on Fridays from 2:00-3:00 pm for six weeks at a time. The next season of clubs begins on April 3rd.

  • Athletics

Provide a meal for Cornerstone athletes before home games.

  • Become a coach! We rely on volunteers to help coach various sports at all three schools.
  • Aspire Mentor

Mentors are trained and matched with a Cornerstone 4th or 5th grader by our friends at the Aspire Movement. Mentors spend an average of 5 hours per month with their student, not following any specific curriculum but simply incorporating their lives together in a way that fosters discipleship and mutual growth.
